“Family has been the most important thing to my husband and I. We started our family as shortly after we were married in 2003, our son was born in 2004 and our journey as parents began with our amazing son Brandon. However, Brandon was the only child I was able to carry to full term due to serious health issues. We were blessed God gave us one child, until we stumbled upon adopting our daughter Emma. Steve worked with Emma’s biological father and through that relationship we met Emma’s birth mother. For financial and personal decisions they chose to give up their baby for adoption and we were fortune to adopt Emma. The moment we held Emma will felt forever bonded to our little princess. Emma is full of energy, excitement, and creativity. Four years later; one of my co workers came to me and asked if we would adopt their baby, we debated and decided God brought us together for a reason and our paths were meant to cross. Our second adoption and our second daughter Molly came along. Molly’s birth parents unfortunately had substance abuse issues and knew they couldn’t care for Molly. Having Molly has truly been a great experience for Emma to understand adoption! Three children and three different ways they were brought to us, but when we heard their hearts beat, held them in our arms, and loved them unconditionally we know in our hearts we were all meant to be together.”
